Magenta
Magenta Skateboards takes its name from the street in Paris where the brand was invented - Rue de Magenta. The street runs north from Republique and was once the home of both Vivien Feil and Soy Panday. They created Magenta Skateboards in 2010 to offer an artistic, Parisien flare to the style of skateboarding they both loved and admired.
After moving Magenta down to Bordeaux they picked up rider Leo Valls, who's skateboarding embodied the style of the brand and really drove the Magenta aesthetic. Soy Panday continues to produce all the artwork for Magenta Skateboards. The magenta team is represented by an artistic collective in Vivien Feil, Soy Panday, Ben Gore, Leo Valls, Ruben Spelta, Gunes Ozdogan, Glen Fox, Zach Lyons and Jimmy Lannon.
